Competitive Advantages
We are increasing all of the structural elements in the construction process, and insulation value, while decreasing costs and timelines. Outlined below are some of our key competitive advantages when compared to the tilt-up industry, along with other foam panels.
COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES OVER THE CONCRETE TILT-UP INDUSTRY
Insulation Advantages
-
Due to the incorporation of foam replacing the concrete core of the walls, our building system can drastically increase insulation value and reduce heating and cooling costs by an estimated 35% annually. Read More
Reduced Cost of Construction
-
Because the building process is drastically sped up by our efficiently assembled panel system, we reduce the time of construction from twelve months, of a commercial box unit, down to one and a half months.

Speed of Construction
-
Our building system allows us to erect a commercial warehouse building in 1.5 months, whereas the tilt-up process typically takes 12 months. Read More
MANUFACTURING ADVANTAGES OVER COMPETITIVE FOAM PANELS
Production & Manufacturing Advantages
-
Our panels are injection molded, allowing for one solid piece of panel and the ability to “print” endless panels. This advantage creates ease of construction, and erecting the panels without much effort.

Field Advantages
-
Our panels, unlike the competition, do not have a wire mesh, and instead we incorporate wire trusses that protrude through our panels. This allows plumbers, and electricians to easily use our clip channels to attach their boxes Read More
Labor Advantages
-
Due to our straightlined manufacturing process, PanelBuild requires much less factory employees, while the competition requires three times as much due to the handling requirements they have with multiple workstations.

Cost Advantages & Comparisons
-
PanelBuild’s patent has material cost advantages such as using a truss system instead of a cage (around it’s panels), which uses much less metal. We achieve better structural integrity while using less metal with our panels. Read More
IP & Other Product Advantages
-
One of our key IP advantages is our ability to “print” endless panels, while also being able to cut at precise angles and specific sizes with door and window openings. The competition has to accomplish the cutouts at the jobsite Read More
Our Technology
PanelBuild’s patented method of manufacturing combines a truss welding machine, an EPS mold machine (expanded polystyrene insulation), and a cutting system in an inline manufacturing process that’s both economical and streamlined. The videos below showcase our machinery’s state-of-the-art capabilities. Commercial Construction FAQs
What are some of the problems in the construction industry that a product like PanelBuild will address?
The current state of the construction industry is riddled with inefficiencies, such as high costs of labor, extensive supplies, and months (and in some cases years) of work to build a commercial “box building”, such as a warehouse. Read More
How is PanelBuild better, faster and cheaper than traditional building systems?
It boils down to the incorporation of foam, 50% less concrete allocation, zero lumber, no cranes, and the ability to print endless panels. Read More
How are you an eco-friendly and green company if you leverage EPS (foam)?
We effectively leverage byproducts of the oil industry, that would otherwise create further environmental damage, and we increase the shelf-life of those oil bi-products by using EPSRead More
How do you plan on disrupting the incumbent building systems (e.g. the tilt up industry) for commercial developments?
PanelBuild’s building system, put up against the traditional tilt up processes for building commercial box buildings doesn’t come close to our estimates. Read More
Why is energy not being conserved in traditional concrete buildings?
Maintaining temperature inside concrete buildings at comfortable ranges can cost tens of thousands of dollars a month in utilities, most of which is lost through lack of insulation Read More
Beyond the green aspects of PanelBuild, what are some other competitive advantages your building system has over the competition?
Beyond the green aspects of PanelBuild’s building system, are the following customer advantages: earthquake resistance, hurricane resistance, natural fire retardant, Read More

Building Projects
Through our affiliate corporate group (EcoPanel Group, Inc.), we have planned and executed a number of developments globally. We’re excited to bring our product home to the states in 2019, as we build out our first factory in Haleyville, Alabama. In the past, our group has provided development support and participated in the initial phases of master planning a community to specific field support throughout the construction process. Examples of past developments are included here for reference.

Sarkis Khatchikian
CEO
With entrepreneurial blood flowing through his veins, Sarkis has been in business since he was a young man and established himself early on as a top manufacturing vendor for companies such as IKEA, and Home Depot. After a successful sale of his company, Sarkis stepped into the world of real estate development with numerous residential and commercial projects under his belt. During a recent project, he and his father, Chris, were pitched on an economical panel to develop with. After numerous discussions, and countless hours of research and development, Chris (with a background in design and engineering) and Sarkis knew they could build something better. Over two dozen process patents later, and a few beta projects that leveraged the panels, PanelBuild was born.
Steven Tate
CMO
Steve’s been a leader in emerging tech and digital media for fifteen years. He currently sits on the advisory board of two venture-backed Silicon Beach startups, and has been instrumental in raising capital and developing companies from an early stage. Earlier in his career he held management roles in consumer marketing, and partnerships at companies such as Warner Bros., Yahoo, Inc., and Toyota North America, Inc. among others. While at Yahoo he helped manage and scale the efforts of a partnership team’s operations which eventually drove ~$600M of incremental annual revenue. Having been in the weeds as an entrepreneur himself, he knows first hand the challenges of bringing a product to market that has a true competitive advantage. After sitting down with Sarkis, and having helped other brands tell their most authentic story, he knew that this crucial product had to be brought to the masses.
